Is it bad to introduce chickens to your flock like multiple times I had got 3 chickens and they pecked and everything but I'm taking 2 back to exchange them and get different ones I haven't even had them for a week will this cause my chickens to go crazy or become to over stressed? Please help anyone I'm trying to get this done but I a little worried and I'm new to keeping chickens and need help!

Welcome to BYC!

Be sure if you are adding chickens to your flock that you quarentine them first. You don't have to quarantine chicks, but you do have to quarantine adults to limit the spread of diseases in your flock.

Also, it is never a good idea to add chicks to a flock consisting of adult birds. Adults and chicks do not always get along and chicks cannot defend themselves very well. The result can be tragic.

When you do add new birds to your existing flock, there will be some pecking, and squawking. This is completely normal. They need to sort out the pecking order and know where every chicken stands on the totum pole.

Here is great link on adding to your flock: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/adding-to-your-flock

Good Luck!

I don't think it's over stressing your own birds, but, they sure as heck will rain down stress and worse on any new additions - if you just throw them in together
