Somebody please help me to choose an incubator for hatching quail eggs! I'm really stressing over this issue because I really want to start hatching quail but I don't know what incubator is the most reliable. Please tell me what you suggest thanks!

I know nothing about quail and what particular modifications they need for good hatching. Please go to "Other Backyard Poultry," forum above, there you will find QUAIL threads to post on. I'm sure someone there will be able to help you out. Thank you for joining the Backyard Chickens flock.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I personally would recommend a Brinsea for incubating any egg. I have done quail before but in a cheap Chinese incubator that was very erratic and needed an awfull lot of babysitting. It also did not have a turner so I had to hand turn all the eggs and when you have a lot of quail eggs it takes some time. All the Brinsea range of incubators come with ability to hold quail eggs. The mini incubators have a turning disc you have to buy the quail disc seperate. The octagons have the dividers which you can set to suit your egg size. Brinsea are a little more pricey but are worth it and very reliable. Here is the incubator review section ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/products/category/egg-incubators

Do drop by the quail section as drumstick said for more advice on what has worked for other quail breeders ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/48/quail

Good luck and enjoy BYC :frow
