I need help first time hatching and its zipping!!!!

Hello i have a button quail and the shell is cracked on the top hallf and idk about the other side. He moved to the corner and theres no peeping and idk if he can get out of the egg???? He's stuck in that one spot cause its a hill. should i open it and move him???? plz help!

Leave it alone. My chicks are hatching now also. Some have been about 12 hours since the pip.

Nevermind i checked with a flashlight and there was nothing in it. He was under an egg tray

and he was dry so i got him out and stuck a sponge in the bator. My First hatch ever!!!!
