Hey everybody.. I've had chickens for about a year and a half now and still am having trouble hatching eggs. I've tried an incubator and even letting my hens go broody! But it seems like every time they go broody they fake on me and eventually abandon their nest. Can any one tell me a VERY broody breed...

Thanks. I thought cornish chickens were for meat and i heard they dont lay that well...

they lay 160-180 eggs per year and they are very good for eating although they are not full on meat birds like cornish crosses. I have one and it has hatched eggs 3 times within the past year.
