I need help in identifying some of my fancy poultry

Hi

I hope everyone here is fine. I need help in identifying some of my fancy poultry. They are about 1 month and 20 days old.

I am posting there pics. I think the last two pics are of black silkie and golden buff.

Okay, let's see, i'm not an expert, but here are my guesses.

1. Ameraucana or Easter Egger
2. Barred Rock
3. Some type of Japanese
4. Another Japanese
5. Feathered legs, hum, cochin?
6. Silkies
7. Um, maybe an Orpington?

#1: Hard to say with the angle of the picture. Maybe a mille fleur old english game bantam? Is the bird small?
#2: Barred rock
#3: Hmmm, part of me wants to say black-tailed buff Japanese, but the coloring doesn't look quite right. The legs don't look long enough in this picture, but I guess it could be an OEGB. Not sure!
#4: Black-tailed white Japanese
#5: Cochin definitely, not sure about the color. Potentially mottled.
#6: Black silkies
#7: Buff orpington, maybe.

@ SilverPhoenix Yes the bird is small a hand full i have attached the pic with bird in my hand.

And are the sizes ok according to the age? And yeah it look like orpington to me also.

And can u tell me plz about some websites having full info about breeding housing and necessary info about fancy poultry.

All of your birds are looking good so far! And the housing and necessary info can be found here on BYC. Fancy breeds of chickens still require the same basic care as any other chickens. Good luck with them! You're going to have a very pretty and diverse flock.

Also, oh, I didn't notice the feathered legs on the potential buff orpington! Changing my vote to buff cochin as well.

1 - NOT an Easter Egger and certainly not an Ameraucana

- It is a Spangled OEGB.
2 - Barred Rock
3 - Japanese
4 - Japanese
5 - (splash?) Cochin
6 - Silkies
7 - Frizzled mutt. Not a purebred Cochin or Orpington. Has wrong leg color for a Cochin and too little feathering for a Cochin.

Nice birds! Feathersite has lots of info on breeds and pictures. Most anything you need to know can be found here on BYC though!
