My goats, ducks and chickens all free range together in the same fenced in area. Only the goats have been wormed. The chickens eat bugs and earth worms.. I'm not sure if the ducks have or not, but assume yes.. so, I'm worried about the ducks and chickens getting worms from the earthworms they've eaten and since all the poop can carry the worm eggs it makes it worse.
I used safeguard paste for the goats. I also have a bag of wormer pellets.
My chickens have not been wormed since I got them.
What should I use? I looked at ivermectin pour on.. .. What else is there? What can I buy that I can use on the ducks and chickens and maybe the goats too... I'm not so worried about the goats as I have the products and schedule for them... But need to know what to use on both chickens and ducks.. and also the dosages, etc
I have three standard chickens 2yrs+ sexlink, barred rock + leghorn. I also have three chicks about 7wks old (I think)... 1 call duck 1yr old, and two Welsh Harlequin ducklings, 5wks old..
Not too long ago, I tore down the chicken run and decided to let everything free range together, and just read an article about chickens getting worm infestations, etc from earthworms and I know my chickens eat them whenever they find them, so now got worried. I never wormed my birds, so need help.
BTW.. can I use ivermectin pour-on on my dog & cat too? I see different sizes of the pour on.. How do I know which size is enough?
