I need help Zone 5 fast growing fruit trees...

Any one know of any fast growing fruit trees that grow good and grow FAST.. I have three acres and have been bugging the folks for years for fruit trees and they finnaly relented.. I need these for shade as well .. So any ideas I am not against Hybrids at all .. Thanks

No idea. I just bought whatever was cheap on clearance. I have 2 apple trees and a pear tree. The fastest growing fruiting plant I have are my grape vines.

Check with your County Extension office. Or the Master Gardeners program. Very helpful people and they are usually holding tree and plant sales this time of year. They can recommend the best fruit trees ect for your zone.
Nice to have so much land to plant on!
