We got the ducklings this morning. One was already dead when we got there and one was really weak. The really weak one died. Then one who wasn’t as weak went down hill and died. I only have two left now. One is a drake and he’s starting to show the signs. I’ll list the symptoms in order down below. We put powered vital pack niacin etc in their water. What else can I do?!
Wings stuck out
Head drooping
Panting
Wobbling while trying to walk
Gasping for air
Thirsty
Starts throwing back head
All symptoms increase dramatically
Death

My other ducklings are in a bin 4 feet away. They are 4 weeks old. Are they going to get it too?

I had four out of my nine die. They were showing all these symptoms except gasping and wings sticking out. I did a necropsy on two of the four and they had an enlarged liver with lesions which is one of the causes of Duck Viral Hepatitis but my remaining 5 are not showing any symptoms or signs that they were affected by it. They can be infected but not be affected and be fine. I would just make sure the ones that start showing symptoms are getting plenty of Niacin, B Complex, Nutri Drench, and someone on here recommenced Vitamin E liquid capsules 400ie but my last one died before I was able to her any. I think if they are going to have a fighting chance you need to get this all in them early on. Maybe someone else will have better suggestions.

No the ones that were showing those symptoms are dead now. The little boy only has wings stuck out and is panting and drooping his head sometimes. And I don’t have a YouTube account.

Can you make an account, It's hard to get an idea of what's going on with them without a video.
