Lately I have become extra intrigued in kikiriki chickens, and I was wanting to know that where I could get some either shipped mailed or bought locally. I'm from Vale, North Carolina so if anybody in the BYC family can point me in the right direction i would forever be grateful!!

A&R Homestead had some kikiriki hatching eggs but are sold out right now. they are really cute!

About all I know about them is that they are quite common in Puerto Rico. A friend there had them but since the hurricanes I've lost contact with him.
There's a lot of different types that they call "kikiriki" but the ones you are probably referring to is the micro sized ones. They are common in puerto rico, but you can also find breeders in the states. Basically, serama-sized chickens of different colors, some may be "bolo" (no tail), some may be pata corta (short legged), most commonly they have the "moña" which refers to the head feathers that stick out and make them look like cardinals, and the crests can vary from straight comb to cushion/walnut comb. They aren't as uncommon as you may think. Check Facebook or Craigslist and you may find some chicks or adults. Though be prepared to pay upwards of $60-$200 each. Just don't get fooled with some other chickens that they may label as kikirikis, if they weigh more than 1lbs, they aren't the true kikiriki. It's common for Spanish speakers to refer to regular sized bantams as kikirikis, which is not what you are looking for. Kikiriki is basically the Spanish term for bantam, which you may know has a lot of variety in size, shape, and color, so just make sure you are aware of what you are buying.

You might reach out to your local 4H club. I was looking at hatching eggs nearest me on eBay and found someone who's part of 4H who has them and a few of the more unusual chickens and turkeys. Obviously they ship, but you should try a local 4H club first.

Not sure if you found some yet. I ship Kikiriki eggs. My originals came from Peurto Rico. I am in McDonough GA. I am NPIP certified. I charge $60 per dozen plus shipping. I will only ship UPS or FedEx though. Post office has been really bad in getting things delivered lately. I do have a lot of young cockerel roosters but sadly only two pullets. I won’t ship live birds but I do work with transporters. I am only a day trip away if you are up for a drive. My roosters run around $25-50. The pullets are $75 and each has to go home with a rooster.
