I ordered hatching eggs from Ebay....yeah, I know...but I didn't know where else to go. They came yesterday. Lo and behold...they are bantams. No indication and no mention in the auction that they were bantams. There was a pic but they looked nice and they appeared to be LF. I will not throw them away, I have them in my incubator so if I don't like them I can always sell the chicks in March at the farm swap.
So, I STILL need LF Salmon Faverolles.
I put an ad on here but there have been no replies and I still don't know of any breeders that have eggs.
I am going to have to buy from a hatchery. I bought chicks from our local feed store late last yr and have 1 roo which came from Ideal. My roo has not been fertilizing my hens eggs, and besides that, he has no red on him so his color is off. My hen I ordered yr before this past from Cackle and she is a reasonably nice bird.
Does anyone know which hatchery produces the nicest Faverolles and will ship eggs? OR does anyone know someone that might sell me some?
Please help.
TY

If you were closer, I would beg you to buy a couple from you. I want some bantams, but the hatchery I will be buying from doesn't have bantam Faverolles. I wish there was a local breeder, but alas... I live in an area where RIRs, EEs, and Productions are plentiful. :)

I'm not sure who is hatching yet.

I don't have any pens set up. Even if I did the eggs are freezing before I can get them

I expect they are freezing. I have had only 2 eating eggs to freeze before collecting so far. There should be a window of warmer weather soon and I am hoping I can have some shipped then.
