Hey chicken-lovers!
I'm designing a new chicken website called Underground Chicken and I need a few pictures before I can launch my site. I'd love some pictures of silkies and showgirls if you've got some you're willing to share. I will link to your web site (or BYC page) and credit you as the owner of the photo and chicken.
My site is www.undergroundchicken.info and it's going to give advice for people who really want to own a small backyard flock but aren't allowed to do so because of their city laws or HOA rules. I'm not encouraging anyone to break the rules per say, but I've met a bunch of people on BYC and via my blog who own secret rule-breaking chickens or want to, but don't know how to go about it. My website will give some tricks and tips to people to keep their backyard flock without getting caught. I'm a secret chicken owner myself and have enjoyed my wonderful little flock for about 13 months now and I just want to pass on what I've learned to others who might want to take the plunge.
I have pics of my chickens to use, but I'd really love some pics of adult silkie and showgirl hens - no roosters, I'm afraid. Once again, I WILL link to your website or BYC page if you have one and I will credit you as the owner of the photo.
This website isn't some crazy money-making venture. I'm just doing it for fun.... I have a web design business and a blog and I just wanted to do something fun for ME for once!
If you'd be interested in letting me use a pic of your silkie or showgirl, please post them here or message me! I purchased the www.undergroundchicken.com domain also, but it won't be active until this summer. Until then I'm using the www.undergroundchicken.info domain while I'm working on the Underground Chicken site.
