I Need Some Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately this winter I have lost 2 of my 3 large breed ducks

. My poor drake that is left is wondering around lonely and lost since his mate died last week. My question is will he be fine until we raise another duck for him or should I find an adult to introduce him too?

Get an adult for him.Since its VD day,get him a mate today.

When I first started out with 5 ducks, a dog attack left me with just one, Steve. I later found out that Steve is female. Anyway she was fine with the chickens, although she did think she was a hen for a while. I then got three 1 week old Muscovy ducks, Steve took on the role of mother straight away.

So to answer you're question, ducks are happier with other ducks but will be fine for a little while on its own.
