I need the scoop on poop!

My 2 BO pullets (still not laying...sigh) had not been able to free range for 2 days due to bad weather. Up until this point, their poop had been mainly solid, darker color and white, dries hard. Today in the poop tray it was a lighter brown, moist and loose. Should I be concerned or do you think it has anything to do with the fact that they were cooped up for 2 days?

Sounds like just a change of diet is all. Once they are back out things should go back to normal but keep an eye on them just in case.

There's a chicken poop chart...look it up online. Its very helpful. Chickens poop a very wide variety and most of it is not a sign of bad things.

Feed poop is completely different from range poop and what you're describing is exactly what I'd expect to see.
