Is this the right place to post this? What is inbreeding and how bad is it? I'm worried about letting "daddy" eventually have babies with his daughters! Help?

IMO, Daddys breeding with daughters is okay as long as you don't continue doing it over and over down the line. Same with brothers and sisters. I may let that happen once but don't keep it up. Bad genes can be passed along and strengthen that way.

Ok. Thats gonna be difficult to control. The lil ones are probably not going into the big coop for a week or so anyway.

Honestly, it's rarely much of a problem. You may run into significant problems if you NEVER replace your rooster and you have him breeding 4th, 5th, 6th, etc generations.
Many people will replace the roo around the 2 or 3 year mark... so they introduce new bloodlines and prevent those stagnant problems.

Just plan for a new rooster in 2 years or so... one that is not related to anything on your property. It'll be fine.
