Hi everyone. Since venturing on my new journey of chick love I have heard over and over again how great this site is so here I am. My name is Alex and I live in Portland,Or where I'm a mama to three girls, one siamese, 2 Mille Fluer bantams and three brand new soft fuzzy silkie bantams.
Right now they are all house bound but the Millle's should be on their way out soon.
Is it just me or does anyone elses' heart break at the thought of sending them out in the cold? This is Portland, it is rainy!

Well, I hope I get the hang of this and I'm looking forward to meeting you all here.
Thanks!

Alex

Welcome to BYC! You'll love it here and learn a ton. I love Oregon - I was born in Redmond and try and visit every few years. Rain is better then snow - trust me I know.

Hey and welcome!

It's been raining for a week here, and my RIR pullet should be ready to go out. I just feel like a bad mommy for sending her out to freerange on her own for the first time in the rain! So I know exactly how you feel.
