This weekend I finally heard my rooster crow, we figured he was a rooster but wasn't sure. He still has his bad leg that he hops on one, We are hoping he's not to noisy and the neighbors don't complain but if they do then we will have to get rid of him, I don't want to eat him. I have gotten attached to him and he loves to be petted and loved on, I hope I can find someone that would want him for what a rooster is for and not eat him but i'm scared because he is wounded so not sure who would want a disabled rooster...:( I was told he will get mean no matter how loveable he is now because his hormones will kick in is this true? Anyone from Baton rouge Louisiana want a rooster just in case we do have to get rid of him?
I sure hope we don't but not suppose to have a rooster here!
