So I made the trip to my supplier yesterday to get a dozen eggs to set. She only had 9

Wellllllll I searched all over for more to no avail. Ended up driving an hour away to buy 5 chicks, and the lovely lady gave me another 3 eggs to set.

Now I have 12 eggs on day 0, and 5 new chicks. Plus the 8 (10 week olds, 3 cockerels and 5 hens), 40 - (3 day old) Cornish x, and 34 more Cornish x we just had taken care of, ready to be delivered to the freezer.

I think I'm a chicken farmer.
