I ordered 5 EEs from the feedstore, Chances of me getting a Rooster??

I bought 6 "sexed" chicks and got one. If you can pick and choose, white ones (pale yellow) seem to be more likely to be male. Now I know nothing about genetics. This is based solely on my selecting only one which turned out to be male, and reading in one thread on here how others have had the same experience.

thank you

Easter Eggers tend to have a higher chance of people getting cockerels compared to other "sexed" breeds. Your best thing to do is avoid light, creamy yellowish white ones with stripes and to show photos of the chicks once the feather out. Most EE's can be sexed by color, if not, by comb.
