cd Wait i am confused, I ordered 5 RIR (female) baby chicks from mypetchicken.com and how long will it take for them to start hatching the eggs they sit on? PM me or post reply.

I ordered mine and they arrived last week. Mine will start laying in January. Yours should also...latest should be February.

RIR chickens are not typically broody, so they may never sit on eggs for you. Also, you need a rooster to have babies. Do you have a rooster?
