From Cackle, 15 RIRs!! I made a note that end of Feb would be great. YAY!!! I'm so excited!!

RIR's are good layers. Their laying is predictable and their eggs are nice. My girls are friendly. Just remember RIR's do not normally go broody so they won't hatch anything for you.

I had a RIR go broody and it was so weird! I had a RIR, Barred Rock, Buff Orph and Blue Andalusian and the RIR was the one to go broody. LOL!

I had one to go broody once also. Very rare thing it is!
