I plan to spray Permethrin tonight Are the eggs still edible

:welcome :frow I did quite a bit of research on permethrin prior to using it. From my take, the label only specifies an egg withdrawal period if there is one. I use permethrin now and then If I have an issue. I don't use it regularly because as with most insecticides, if used continuously, the pests can develop a resistance to it. I spray during the day when the birds aren't in the coop to give it a chance to dry out and spray everywhere, every crack and crevice. There is no egg withdrawal period. Permethrin is an insecticide in the pyrethroid family. Pyrethroids are synthetic chemicals that act like natural extracts from the chrysanthemum flower but will last longer when applied to surfaces such as the roosts, etc.
