I prefer my chicks raised by humans over chicken..............

How about you guys?

All of my broody raised chicks shun any contact with the keepers. Refusing treats while their mama hens greedily accept them. I like my chicken wild but not that wild. I am not a cuddler of chicken, but like the trust factor my hand raised ones give me.

Once my broodies ween the chicks, I start to become their savior when the other hens are pecking the snot out of them.
I will seek them out and offer raisins that they must take from my fingers. I currently have seven 8-week old chicks. All but one will readily come to me for treats.
I much prefer broody everything. I just select the eggs I want hatched and let them do it all.
