Yeah i did. the temps are getting really warm now. and my parents were getting all regrety about letting me keep the chicks in the brooder in the house. i put them in the coop .This time i put a wooden latch on the coop made from the wood u find in the middle of a pine tree. It was an olde christmas tree in the back yard so i made it free. And it lifts up and can go down . and i made a hinge nail latch at the lower part of the door too. Foods in there and water too. conditions are basically like the brooder. No lamp though . starting to feather out . Are they good ?

Depends on the night time temps. At that age, they need some pretty good warmth and no dampness. You may find you lose a few if you have a chilly night or a very damp spell. They're not fully feathered out till around six weeks old. Are you really in the Bahamas? What are the night temps right now?

Do you have a thermometer you could put out there? When you check on them, you could be sure they were warm enough... Good luck!

still seems a little cool for babies... Especially at night.... I would still put up a light for nightime

For me, it's not just about temp. I like to keep them bunched up together in a relatively small area, just like mama. It is much easier to observe the subtle beginnings of trouble, which is important at this age. Back to the temps, though. It's really, really hard to maintain a uniform temp in a large area like a coop. Frankly, I think less than a week is way to young. You can lose them at that age for almost no reason even keeping them inside in a brooder. I understand your dilemma with the folks, but maybe you can explain that they are at risk and will be out there soon enough.

I hope everything works out.

Yes my friend you need to put a light in there or they will die tonight! I use a light here at night turing it on around 6 and my son turns it off when he goes to school at 8:30. It is to cool here at night and especially if it is alot of dew and damp like last night. Go out and put a light right now or bring them back in. You've done so much to get this far it would be kinda of silly to loose them now. Like speckled hen said until 6 weeks they need some warmth. Even though it is warm here in the Bahamas day time you still need to keep them warm at night. Even in the summer months I still use a light until 6 weeks, why take the chance??

Lows in the 70's? I say put them in a box or crate so they are protected from drafts , fill it with litter or some other bedding and put them out there..... my house is in the 60's most nights and my less than a week old do fine (and I have older ones that I have had since less than a week).
