Ok, I had eggs in the bator that was suppose to hatch the first week of march. But Hubby unplugged the bator on me and he got scared and thought the eggs were all dead cuz they felt cold. So he replaced those eggs with new ones.

Any way in between of him doing that I never noticed there was no date on the eggs, the kids were sick and up a lot I didn't get much sleep. He can't remember what day it was he replace the eggs, so I am stuck, I don't know when to do lock down! The egg looks full I can only see the air sack, so should I keep turning the egg just in case, or should I stop and just lock it down?

btw: I thought one was dead about a week ago, it looked smaller then the rest. Had hubby crack it and it was alive.

But he said it looked like it is almost ready, so I think I am getting close, but I don't even know how long I should give it either. Any input would be great, I feel so lost right now.

Thanks everyone!

Here's what I would do if they appeared "almost done" to me. Take them out of the turner (if you have one) and lay them on their sides. Keep turning by hand and monitor for first sounds of peeps or first pip (crack in the shell). Up the humidity as soon as either of these occurs. You may hear them before you see the pip, which is why I say either of these. Once they pip internally, they're on their way.

I've done this with with pheasant egg clutch a friend gave me. He had no idea how long the hen was sitting on them. And all worked out well. Good luck with your hatch.
