I really want some blue eggs...

I have purchased two hens; each was a few months old when I got them. My girls are very pretty. I drove 40 miles one way to pick up Wendigo. She is lavender and has blue feet. She was supposed to be an Ameraucauna but lays pretty green eggs so must be an EE.

A few months later I lost my sweet Lucy. She just disappeared into thin air. After I was sure she was gone, I didn't want Wendi to be lonely, so, I drove over an hour, one way, way out in the sticks to pick up another Ameraucauna. I was assured that she would lay blue eggs. She is very pretty but she lays brown eggs, anything from medium brown to pink.

I would really like a blue egg layer. How can I find a blue egg layer?

Can you post pictures of your birds? True Ameraucanas, Legbars, and Araucanas can lay eggs that range from blue, green, grey, to khaki.

Whiting true blue are easy to find if you're not adverse to large orders from hatcheries.
