I have duck eggs in the bator and 2 of them have pipped on the inside. They have been like this more than 8 hours. What should I do?!?!?! Should I leave them alone or should I crack a little hole so they have air or what?!?!? Please respond. Thanks!

They have air through the pip. Best advice...leave them alone. Sometime they take more than 24 hours after a pip to hatch. There are all kinds of things that have to happen inside that eggs before they are ready to hatch.

Leave them alone. It can take many hours....like 24+ .......from the time they pip until they start zipping and hatch. If you mess with them at this point in time you will do more harm than good.

Ok thanks!!!
Oh and card5640, They are due today!!!!

And now I'm going to bed cause I want to wake up to ducklings!!!
GOODNIGHT!!!!!!

The egg that pipped has not done any thing all night and I was wondering if i should help. In an hour, It will be 24 hours. Thanks for all the help!!!

I wouldn't touch it! Duck eggs seem to take forever from pip to zip. The duck is resting and absorbing the rest of the yolk. She'll zip when she's ready
