Hi everyone! So of my 3 eggs, one was day 28 today& 2 are day 28 tomorrow. One of tomorrow’s eggs is shaking/vibrating so much and I see an external pip! Not fully open but the shells cracked in, in a circle shape....the one due to hatch today I don’t see anything yet.....is that normal? I also have a tiny container with water in there for humidity control.....is that ok to keep in there? I’m so nervous and so excited!

Thank you! So as of this morning G1 is still moving but no external pip and no sign of internal as far as sound etc. it’s day 29. H2 (day 28) I will post a pic, and H4 also day 28 is moving a lot but no signs. Also this pics from last night, this morning the area is a little bit bigger

I usually leave them be for around 48 hours, and if they don't progress widen the external pip hole just a tad, If they seem not be moving or chirping 12-24 hours after I make that, I may widen the whole more. If you see the baby yawing or veins inside the eggs, do not peel any of the shell of any further.

Ok wonderful. Thank you!! I’m hoping to see some progress today- will keep updates!!

So sorry for another question. If G1- 29 days and no pip but alive, doesn’t change tomorrow, what do you recommend I do? It moves, but doesn’t look internally pipped and H4 (28 days) is pipped and more active today.

Not much you can do if they haven't internally pipped, do you see any shadows along the aircell? I would look out for bruising on other parts of the egg which may indicate the duckling is trying to pip on the wrong side.
