I'm raising my first batch of chickens, they are going on 13 weeks right now. I *think* they are all hens but am a little curious about my White Rock, Parmesan. She was a little bigger than her sister Piccata when we got them as 3-day-olds, so we wondered initially if she could have been left over from the previous shipment. (We got them at our local feed store, via McMurray).
She and Piccata are the same size now, but her waddles seem to be much redder and more developed (the comb is about the same size, though). She still looks hen-ish to me, but since I've never actually had a rooster I thought I'd get some expert opinions. I snapped these pics this morning:

What do you guys think? Is this a girl? And any idea when I can expect eggs from a White Rock?
