I think I got a rooster on my hands!

Hello, I believe this is a Maran, but read somewhere they don’t have yellow legs? Also, pretty sure my hen is a rooster. Thoughts?

someone near me that raises and sells chickens and eggs. He said Maran, but I began questioning it once I Researched the breed. I couldn’t find a Maran that looked just like him. He is very handsome though!

He is a handsome rooster. He's most likely a crossbred.

Thank you. I kinda thought that. looks like my Mary is actually a Mario and headed back where he came from. happy my neighbor will take him back, but still sad to see him go. I’m too much of a novice to deal with a rooster and not enough hens to keep him happy.
