I have done some research, and pretty sure that is what my Annie has. Its been 4-5 days, and it seems its not getting better. I think its time to end her suffering. What is the most humane way?

Her symptoms are: no appetite (though yesterday she was eating watermelon/drinking. bright green poo with alot of clear liquid with it, she also was passing what looked like egg yolk material, lethargic yet alert. Her comb is flopped over and not very red anymore. panting, laying almost all day. Lower abdomin is enlarged and mushy/soft feeling.

I think its it time to end her distress, and I am stressing knowing she is distressed. Any advice is welcome.

I have decided vet costs are not really an option, and honestly I think that will not help her at this point anyhow. Shes had this happen before but always pulled through the spell and this time it seems inevitable.

Just saw this thread. It does sound like EYP to me, from what you described. You can give penicillin, but even if you kick out the infection, it's usually chronic and will return. Also, there may be solid pieces of infection inside, which may not respond to the antibiotic.

I'm sorry. Been there so many times.
