I haven't hatched in about two or three years, but I really miss getting all excited about baby chicks. I'm thinking when I finish this semester in a week, I'm going to set some eggs. Most of my chickens are in mixed coops, but I would like to try for a few purebred modern game bantams. I'm hoping my spitzhauben roo has been brave enough to mate with the girls! He's such a timid thing.
