i think it's going to be a long night

11 is bed time for the duckies. so i put them in at like 11:30 since they were sleeping already. i put them to bed with water and food every night, how else am i going to bribe them to go in the pen. well i'm sitting here about to turn my light off in hopes that i get tired, well they decided it's not time for bed. Duckie the drake broke out and Quackers followed.

lol i don't stay up this late when ducks are sleeping. they sleep in a kids play pen in my room. i cover it with a blanket at night. well, duckie broke out. all he did was jump up and there went the blanket.

at least quackers is on her eggs, maybe that's why he broke out. poor boy is moping around the room. if he didn't poo so much, he could sniggle with me, but i wana wake up poop free lol. poor fella.

Sounds like you now have a broody duck... Congratulations...35 days will be such a long wait for your Duckie to have the room to himself while Quackers sits on those eggs.. Good luck...hope he hatches lots of ducklings for you.
