The pullets usually sleep on the top two roost maybe 10 on top roost 6 on the second roost. Well, not tonight 15 on top roost one on the roost below. 15 chickens crammed on top roost. I fixed it so the lonely girl had a flockmate to snuggle next to. I know I'm not in Canada but I guess they want to stay warm.

And a LOW of 47 degrees last night in Upstate New York. The world has gone mad...

25 degrees here overnight and my girls roost out in the run. They hate being in the coop. I came out this morning and they were running around like any other morning. Their water was frozen, but that was easy enough to fix.
