I think My Chicken Fever is over..............

Hi ! My Hubby wanted White Leghorns , Started with 5 lost one . didn't want no more a dozen . At the local feed store Grand Daugther gets 2 of each breed they had .14 more Chicks , a concerned friend sent me a care package to help deal with the passing of a loved one. 40 more all kinds of breeds.Then another Grand Child shows-up with another box full of chicks. The Saturday before Easter a lady gave us some silkies and Easter Eggers .Then a lady at TSC gave me some because Her Hubby was Afraid of Them.Two nights ago a Family Friend called and said She was downsizing and plans to give me all Her Chicks. I have know real number (I really lost count). But on the bright -side the Chicks are keeping Me busy.And I almost jumped over the moon (LOL) When I went to a local Auction that had tons of Chicks and I never saw one that I wanted . I came home only with Fresh Eggs and Cow Butter.

lol, you got inundated! Good thing you got none from the auction, too many people come back from there with serious diseases. It'd be hard enough to keep biosecurity measures functioning with the amount you've got, lol.

Thanks ! all My neighbors think I lost My Mind because I give My Chicks Fresh water .twice a day and twice a week I Scrub all the Water Containers . But Then These are the same People that comes outside about 11:30 in the morning and "thinks" that is early,sits on the porch a few hours and goes back inside til the next day.LOL I myself know that "IF" I don't move and walk today, tomorrow the is worse.

Some people do indeed think animals should have the poorest quality water and feed... They're usually the same people who don't understand what real health looks like, wonder (in an unconcerned way) why their animals are always dying since they refuse to believe they're anything other than thriving and healthy on crap feed and water; they'll ask you why your animals are so healthy, only to scoff at your methods and keep their animals in the same decrepit state as usual because you're the nutcase, apparently. Some folks, lol!
