...or at least SHE thinks she is!!!!! We were out there today walking around taking pics and enjoying the cooler afternoon weather with the dogs. I decided to hand feed the goats a little corn. I got swarmed by all four of them, so I put some on the ground and was hand feeding the pregnant doe. I heard my 1 year old brindle Pit Bull yelp and I looked over....she had cracked corn stuck to her lips and one of the nanny goats was head butting her away from the food...then something I thought I'd never see.....that crazy dog head butted the goat right back!!!!!! Then they both just put their heads down and went back to eating...side by side....dog and goat.....eating CRACKED CORN like it was the most natural thing in the world!!!!!!! I WISH I had my video camera!!!!!!!!!!

My schnauzer LOVES whole corn! Its all I can do when I have ducks in the backyard to keep her out of it! Although, when it comes to dog vs goat at our house, the goat wins!

that crazy dog head butted the goat right back!!!!!!

That's funny!
I had a corn eating dog too! Charlie would walk into the corn field and come out with an ear of corn then lay down and shuck and eat it.

I thought corn wasn't a natural part of a dogs diet? I never could convince Charlie of that.

Dogs are funny creatures. Just be careful letting dogs have ears of corn. If they eat the cob and it is still at all whole, it can block the exit from the stomach to the intestines and require surgery to remove it.

Thanks for the tip about the cob. Charlie didn't eat the cob, he would lay there with the ear of corn between his paws and chew the kernels off. Charlie was a rescue that had a nightmare life until I brought him here. He had a wonderful life here for 5 years before he passed on.

Its the total opposite for me lol. My goat thinks shes a dog :p
She eats dog food. She plays wth the dogs. She jumps up in my lap (She's only 4 and a half weeks) and she jumps on you lol.
