One of my drakes is having trouble walking. He can’t even stand up. He was swimming in the pond this morning and he didn’t seem to have trouble, for the most part. He was struggling to get out of the pond and he kept flipping over. I had to get him out of the pond and carry him over to his siblings. It breaks my heart to see him like this. i don’t know what to do. I don’t see any bite marks or anything on his legs. I was giving him the vitamin b stuff bc he was struggling to walk before, but it wasn’t like this. He was walking somewhat better when he was on the vitamin stuff and i still give it to him. I can’t afford to take him to the vet and I don’t know what to do to help him. I can’t separate him from the other ducks bc I have nowhere else to put him. What do I do? I don’t know how he hurt his leg. I don’t have the money for a vet.

How old? When you say b stuff what type and brand are you using? What feed is he on?
12 weeks old. I’m using this stuff. He’s on grower feed with 18% protein.
None of my other ducks seem to have any leg problems except for this drake.

I put it in mealworms or sometimes the feed if I don’t have anymore mealworms, but he hates it with feed and will only have it with mealworms.

If you are just dosing over feed and he is picky about it there is a very good change he is not getting nearly enough. He more than likely needs to be it given directly either orally or injecting to ensure he is receiving the correct dosage.

My mistake, it's a different drake that's experiencing this problem. No idea how this happened to him. He was doing just fine yesterday. I don't understand what's wrong with him. I'm crying bc I don't want him to die on me.

Can you take a video, upload it to YouTube and post the link? Or at least take some pictures of him and his feet/legs? Also you said a grower feed do you know what brand or does it have a label you can take a picture of?
