I think my Gigi is a Jeffrey!

This is my 12 week old Black Australorp. She recently has made some very odd sounds that could possibly be her/him trying to crow. She is also very much the leader of the pack and confronts any danger. Can anyone out there tell me if my Gigi is a Jeffrey?

Are you positive of the age? To me it looks like a pullet who's about to start laying.

I got them when they were just little fuzzy chicks. So I am pretty darn sure of the age.

I also have friends with chickens that are a bit over a year old and mine are definitely smaller than theirs.

The comb says rooster at 3 months, the body says pullet. I would wait a bit to see if it develops rooster feathering.
