I think this is quail and it can't fly

I found this bird at my work, it seemed to be fine but could not fly. The birds body appears to be in tact and I picked him up and took him home. He hasn't eaten or drank, but has walked around a little bit. I am just wondering what is/could be wrong and why he can't fly. Also what type of bird is this?

if I had better pictures I could tell you for sure, but to me it doesn't look like a quail, maybe a dove.

What are you feeding/offering it?

They need whole seed with millet as a favorite.
Are you keeping it where it is brightly lit? They sleep when it is dark so little or no light means no eating.

Yep, that's a fledgling collared dove. When they first leave the nest, they are very poor fliers and spend most of their time on the ground for a few weeks. During this time, the parents still continue to care for the chick, bringing it food.
