I think we have a couple boys here. What do you think?

These two are 5 weeks old. They are RIR/Barred rock mixes. By the size, and color of their waddle and the fact that they are developing spurs I’m thinking boys. I know some hens get spurs but their mothers don’t have them so I wouldn’t think they would get them. What do you think?

Thanks, that’s what I figured. It was fun hatching them at least.
 
The development of spurs doesn't mean much of anything at this age because both females and males have spur buds. I've had hens develop spurs too. By the time spurs develop many other traits of being a cockerel will have shown themselves. They are both definitely cockerels though :(
