I thought I had 3 male muscovies, but look what I found this afternoon....

So, now I'm wondering if my other two are females. I thought I knew what to look for....at first I thought they were all females until the lady I purchased them from last year said they should be laying by now. So then I thought they were all boys....until I found my first egg yesterday (in a different location than the nest), and then this today. Here are the other two. They are all about the same size and seem to have the same amount of caruncles.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

I believe that all are hens - which would mean that the eggs are infertile unless you have other ducks.

I do not. That's why I wanted to find out. I don't want her to be sitting for nothing since it's hard on them. Thank you for your opinion.

Just to be sure, candle some of the eggs before you disrupt the nest.

That's what I did. I grabbed 4 of the 12 or so she had under her and they were all infertile. I didn't boot her off the nest yet, though. I am pleasantly surprised that they are all girls. That's what I was thinking to begin with, but the lady I purchased them from last year said they should have been laying by April, and since they never did, I figured they were boys.
