I thought I had *good* karma!!

Last night in orchestra rehearsal I went to tighten my bow and the hair popped out at the tip.

I thought the re-hair costs would be around $20-30. WRONG. I got a quote for $52!! WA sales tax is nearly 9%, so the price will be closer to $58-59.

Our heat is still off and the boiler guy just rescheduled from Friday to Saturday.

One of our pullets laid a weird sac egg last weekend and hasn't laid since.

It hasn't been a good week. Work has been really rough.

I thought I'd been cultivating good karma with kindness and good deeds. Unfair karma makes me

If I'm looking for the silver lining...
* We've got a fireplace and space heaters.
* Someone loaned me a bow to use until mine is repaired.
* Tomorrow is Friday.
* I still have a job.
* I still have a house.
* Dumpling seems OK despite the egg laying thing.
* France makes this really nice red liquid that comes in a lively green bottle.
