She's so scrawny and the roo has been all over her so she's full of broken feathers. She looked so frail I thought it must be something wrong. Turns out she was broody.

I'm not sure what she's sitting on but I pushed a few of the other girls' eggs under her. Then I put some feed and veggie scraps plus a small waterer I use for chicks in the nesting box with her. Is there something else I should do?

I think they usually get off the nest once a day to get food and water , you might not want to put perishable food in the nesting box with her cuz that might attract ants , hope you have a good hatch 👍🙂

If She's not leaving the nest box then you could probably leave it as long as it's not attracting ants or mice

I appreciate the assistance!

The only previous time I had a broody we had no rooster so there was no question of her hatching anything and we broke it. I'm pretty excited about the potential of having a mama hen and, of course, very relieved that it's not a life threatening issue like being egg bound.

Yes I am glad that it is not a life-threatening issue, please post pics when they hatch:)
