I was only getting an egg or three everyday from my Wyandottte pen with 10 one year old hens. I thought it was just the heat because it has been hot here in Texas. This evening as I went out to get eggs, I found this little gut with a belly full of eggs. It is a Texas Rat Snake aka"chicken snake". This one is 5'8" long and I have found larger.
