But apparently there wasn't because this morning, when I went to turn them, it exploded on me.

That was disgusting! Thankfully it didn't explode nearly as bad as it could have, and I quickly cleaned up the mess. I swear it sounded like a cork in a wine bottle popping, and it caught me quite a bit by surprise. I washed and washed my hands afterwards but that smell didn't go away for hours. Probably the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I haven't seen my eggs rocking today. I really hope the rest are ok! It's almost time for lockdown!

YUCK! I have had eggs explode in the nest and the smell is horrible. I can't imagine having it explode on me.

When you have a smell like that try washing your hands with table salt. Get your hands wet and then pour a lot of salt on it and wash like you would with soap. By a lot I mean at last 2 or 3 tablespoons. This works great for onion and garlic smells too.
