because they had just been moved to their new coop, or maybe because there were babies in their old coop...and what better way to show displeasure than to slow down the egg production? After a wonderful winter with two or three eggs every day from my three hens, spring arrived with day after day of no eggs. Or one egg. Nobody was molting, nobody looked sick, everybody was eating and drinking and looked perfectly healthy, but no eggs.
Or so I thought.
I laughed all the way to the trash can with my 18 eggs!!!!
I love my chickens!!
