I can't post on any threads, I tried several between 4:45 pm (CST) and about 10 PM (CST), and again this morning. (Someone advised me to go upload google chrome, and I have and it works just fine for posting)

I was using windows 7 professional as my operating system

Had alot of problems and I had to download Google just for this website. Another dinosaur IE still running strong in other websites.

How do I use "Favorites" for the Google? The "bookmark" icon?

I hate the new set up of Google but I have the feeling IE may be going with the dinosaurs eventually.

There's a wrench in the upper right corner of my Chrome that gets you into bookmarks. I haven't figured it out entirely, though. I'm a Firefox person.

There are forums that don't support IE now. Saves them a bunch of money / time, evidently, to program specifically for IE. They use Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

I was doing fine until yesterday I had problems posting and tried to download Chrome today and was now able to post.

Might just have to get used to the new layout of Chrome which I was hoping its the same format as IE as being user friendly. I love to click on Favorites and don't have to deal with extra step or extra clicking. I will keep both Chrome and IE open until IE can not be used for any other websites anymore.

Yes, I'm terrified of having to use new stuff. I'm being drug kicking and screaming into this century. The days when one could lean over the back fence and talk poultry are pretty much over. I just wish I understood all this computer stuff better.

I've clicked the wrench, but I havn't figured out how to pull up BYC. Glad chrome remembers what I go to, as soon as I type the first "w" (for www.) it goes to the link for BYC, and I'm glad!

I keep on all the tabs on BYC, UTube (to listen music) and FB all in one time on Google. I just like the IE layout and easy Favorites.

Now if I can figure out how to "transfer" all my Favorites on Google book marks list.

To transfer just click on the wrench. Go to bookmarks. Then scroll to the bottom for import bookmarks and settings
