OK skittle is trying and shes ok right but if she does get out by tommorw how its it that i am supposed to help her out of the shell ?

See the topics index: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=48726 for several discussions about if, when, and how to intervene with a struggling chick.

In my limited experience, there is usually a reason why chicks can't make it out of the shell. I have helped 2. One had a severe leg deformity and so was probably unable to kick its way out, and the other seemed okay only to have its entire lower digestive tract come completely out of its body an hour after hatching. After that, I resolved to never intervene again. Nature has a way of sorting itself out.

However, there are many people on this board who have intervened successfully and advocate doing so. In the end, get as much information as you can and then trust your own judgment.

I would give it a little more time before I help and when you do just be really careful. DONT HELP HIM ALL THE WAY OUT. Just carefully work your way around the shell as if he would to make it a little easier for him. I have had some that were just fine, and I have had some that I had to cull also. IF YOU ARE ONE THAT DOESNT HAVE THE HEART TO KULL FOR THE LITTLE GUYS OWN GOOD[/b], then dont help him.

i helped her a bit and shes out great and drying off. i'll give her till the morning to dry i was just gonna put her in the brooder. But shes a litle too wet jjust a little more drying. i put the fan in the incy now so that she can dry off. But she swacks at me that she wants out to see tequila pics tomoorw.
