1. 1000 turkey hatching Eggs what breed will you pick to reproduce for poults and meat.
2. And how long will it take to get to 10000 birds.
3. At whats stage will you introduce another blood line to avoid inbreeding

All domestic turkeys are the breed Turkey. They differ by varieties.

If you are looking to produce meat quickly, choose Broad Breasted Whites. They produce the cleanest carcasses. They grow very rapidly.

To successfully breed them, learn artificial insemination.

They are readily available from hatcheries as day old poults so really no reason to start your own breeding program.

It will be expensive to feed that many poults to a marketable meat size. You cannot raise them to that size for what you can buy "loss leader" turkeys at the grocery stores around Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

It is much better to start with poults than hatching eggs.

You can even get sexed poults from Valley of the Moon Turkeys.

They do sell hatching eggs too.
