I was just lurking until now

I’ve been watching these forums for a couple of years now. I’m in my 50s and I live on 6 acres with my disabled son in a house I designed and built three years ago. I also work in an office three days a week.
My life is everything I asked for but sometimes I need guidance about how to do things by myself. I have a garden, nine chickens, a bloodhound, and we coexist fairly well with the local wildlife. No major predator problems. My tractor is the man of the house.
