I was sooo bad this morning

I got up early b/c my dogs woke me up and couldn't go back to sleep after feeding them. So, I went to a local flea market just to look...yeah like that ever happens..haha. This place has a livestock section that I avoid some of the booths...one guy has the nastiest, dirty birds. Everything is dirt brown even the pekin ducks.

As I was on the way thru the livestock area I saw the cutest little Mille Fleur bantys. He had 2 hens and rooster. Wanted to sell all 3 together but he sold me one hen On the way home, I was thinking where on earth to put her until the other get use to seeing her?? So, moved my 2 chicks and put her in the make shift run I made in the big chicken yard.

She's so cute. A little pecked on her back but not bad. I named her Flower Gravy was strutting his stuff around when he saw a new girl..haha. Bisqit kept following her around and Hashbrown's just ticked off.

Hashbrown has me rethinking on ordering chicks. When I got her, we just turned her loose with the other two without thinking about intros and everyone was fine from the get go.
I had bricks on top of my homemade run anyway but dug out the tent stakes b/c Hashbrown is mad, mad, mad!!! I'm sure she'll calm down after awhile(I hope) and then Miss Flower can come out. Flower's not bothered at all by the huge silkie mix throwing a fit..haha. She's loud too!

Yeah and I almost took Lily our english mastiff b/c there's always lots of people with dogs...nice little pits and meathead american bulldogs. We always hear "wow that dog is huge" haha, they haven't seen huge

It's funny when the hubby got up b/c he saw the 6 wk old chicks had been set up in the duck yard and asked why. I grinned and he asked what I got this time.
We walked out there to look and he said she was very pretty and he liked her. He then said no wonder Hashbrown's mad, she's got the pretty girls stealing Gravy's attention..hahaha

Speaking of Gravy....don't know how on earth he did it but he broke in. It started raining really hard and after it stopped I went to check on her and there's Gravy in there with her. Tents stakes still in the ground, all four sides securely attached and no loose spots in the top. Unless he managed to squeeze thru 2" chicken wire that's on top???
While I was trying to get him out she made a run for it. The girls didn't do anything and let her eat with them. So, I left it opened and stayed out there for almost 2 hours. They are find with her now and when it started raining again they all got in the house. I've checked on them several times since then and everyone still good.
